Big Gov was born, raised on the Southwest side of Detroit Michigan. His musical influence came from his father, who was a member of the R&B / Soul Group, the “Five Special”, were signed to ELEKTRA RECORDS in the late 70’s, early 80’s.
Gov recorded his first professional studio song at the age of 5 yrs old. From that point, he knew music was his calling. Gov is destined to be a great in music!
